Web Portal

#
For native users of reporting services there is also a web portal where they can access all reports and KPIs.
This portal is a one-page application that introduces the traditional folder hierarchy so you can organize your content. Content is organized by type: mobile reports, KPIS, paged reports, Power BI Desktop reports, Excel workbooks, shared datasets, and shared data sources to use as building blocks in your reports. You can also securely store and manage them, and also schedule report processing and subscribe to published reports.

Mobile Reports

#
Mobile computing has changed the way we work. Which means that today people have a need to create and manage reports tailored to this new mobile reality.
In this sense a new type of report based on Datazen technology emerges. Where you can create mobile reports and migrate these reports to reporting services with the help of the SQL Server Migration Wizard for Datazen.

Paged Reports

#
Reporting Services is associated with "traditional" paginated reports, with a document style where the more data you have, the more rows you'll have in the tables and report pages. What's great for fixed layout documents, with perfect resolution, optimized for printing such as PDF and Word files.
However you can now modernize your reports and leave them with a looking modern using new features in the report builder or even the report designer in SQL Server Data Tools.
- Updating all standard styles and color palettes, so by default you create reports with a new minimalist modern style.
- Parameter panel update , so you can oraganize the parameteres the way you want.
- You can export to new formats, such as Power Point.
- You can also create a hybrid Power BI/ Reporting Services experience: instead of re-creating your Reporting Services reports locally in Power BI. You can pin visuals of these reports on Power BI panels and monitor everything in one place in your Power BI dashboard.
